 Understanding Description text

 

 

      1. Definition

 Basically, the explanation of descriptive text is a text that aims to explain, describe, or 

describe something. This something can take any form, be it an animal, object, location, 

and so on.

The structure of descriptive text consists of two parts, namely identification (identification) and description (description).

The identification section contains the introduction of the object to be described. 

Examples include, 'what is that object?' or 'Where did that object come from?'. 

Meanwhile, the description section contains a more specific explanation of the object 

being described. In this section, you can explain the appearance and personality of the 

object.

•Descriptive Text Elements

      1. Nouns

Nouns using specific principal nouns, such as my cat, my swain, monument. In 

addition, often using adjectives to clarify the use of nouns or nouns, such as a giant 

house, a sensible student, associate degree independence lady. 

     2. Simple Tense 

Simple tense using the basic verb or the first form (verb 1) and using the principal

verb can show the ownership or state of an object. Descriptive text uses the easy tense 

because descriptive text tells a fact in the Iranian language the object being described. 

For example, My workplace has twenty two floors, Azka is pretty, and others. 

     3. Action Verbs 

Action verbs using the verb principle shows an activity or an activity that can be seen. 

For example, sleep, walk, sing, dance, and others.

     4. Figurative Language 

Figurative language using Indonesian figurative principles or describing something, 

usually using a metaphor to provide an illustration to the reader. For example: My 

love for you is as massive because the ocean. - My love for you is as wide as the 

ocean. Her skin is as white because of the snow – Her skin is as white as snow.

My School

 

 My school is green and clean. There are many big trees which make the air become very clean

and fresh. The area of my school is around 1000 meter square, surrounded by bushes and

fences. In my school there are 30 buildings which consist of 21 Classrooms, 2 Teacher rooms,

Science laboratory, a Language Laboratory, Toilets, Multimedia room and a Hall.

 In the school entrance there's this security post where all the securities are staying. There is

Also a fountain and a small garden with colorful Flowers.

School Library

 One day I went to school on Wednesday. After I got to school, I immediately went into class

because learning would start soon. After entering class, I immediately took out the PAI book.

After I finished the PAI lesson, I immediately rushed to change my clothes. After changing my

clothes, I immediately rushed to the field for sports and at that time I was playing basketball

with friends. After I finished playing basketball, I took a break because my head was dizzy and

My Books

 There are 4 books that I like, namely IPAS, B. INGGRIS, PKN, RELIGION. I like the

book IPAS because the book is white in color and the size of the book is 20×30cm. Big

and thin PKN because the cover of the book is dark green with a picture of an eagle.
